DOG WALKING
That's Amore Pet Care excels in giving your dog the perfect fun energising walk, whether it’s a run, a stroll or a swim in the river, your dogs will be having fun!!!
Where do you take the dogs for their walks?
We are lucky enough to have a huge selection of great walking spots in the local area. We mainly use Beckenham Place park, Chinbrook Meadows and Elmfield Wood. Whenever we feel like a change of scenery we do use the parks in Bromley, Chislehurst and Grove Park.
How long are the dog walks?
It can depend on the dog, we normally walk for one hour, but if that doesn't suit the individual pups energy levels we can arrange for a shorter walk. Just let us know and we can tailor our walk to suit your needs.
Do you collect and drop off with the dog walking service?
Absolutely! The price quoted will always include collections and drop offs - we normally would have a set of keys so we can be flexible.
How many dogs go on each walk?
It all depends on the dogs - we would normally take between 4 on each walk, but that would change depending on the individual and the group's requirements.
Individual walks can be arranged; however it is important for dogs to be rehabilitated back into the canine environment.
Will my dog be off Leash?
As well as the need for exercise and socialisation, it’s a dog’s nature to be free. To fulfil this basic need, off lead can be provided (If recall is reliable) with your written consent.
DAY CARE
Doggy day care is exactly that: a fun filled place for your canine companion to spend the day with his friends, playing, learning new skills and also relaxing within my care.
How do the dogs get to Doggy Daycare?
Pick up and drop off are in our air conditioned dog-mobile. For ease, we can arrange to be key holders for your home. If you don't like leaving your house keys to us, we suggest customers to install a key lock outside the house with a secure code. This is because is really hard to respect all time slots required from all the customers and it will lead only to disappointment and not content customers, with delay cause by traffic or simply by unexpected situations.
If you look after a set of my keys, will they be stored securely?
Our client’s security is essential to us. Keys are stored in a locked and secure place and are not labelled with any identification that would link them to your property. We are all DBS checked which you can ask to see a copy of.
What does a typical day at Doggy Daycare look like?
Following morning collections our daycare pooches are brought back to That’s Amore Pet Care where we have all sorts of fun activities to keep your pups entertained throughout the day. They will have the superior freedom of a clean, hygienic loving home and garden, and are pampered throughout the whole stay. We also understand the importance of doggy downtime, so there are plenty of areas and comfy bedding to ensure all pooches get the rest that they need.
Does my dog go out on a walk whilst in Doggy Daycare?
Absolutely! We take the pups out in small groups to explore our beautiful local parks and woodland areas! We always make sure that the pups are well matched on the walks - ensuring that they are similar sizes and have matching energy levels.
Will my dog ever be left alone?
Nope! The dogs are always supervised here at That’s Amore Pet Care and never left alone - whether it be in the park, garden or house, there will always be someone looking after your furry best friend!
Can all types of dogs come into Daycare?
This service is only available for small to medium size dog. Males dogs must be neutered and bitches will not be accepted when in season. Only dogs with good manners and non aggressive behaviour will be accepted at That’s Amore Pet Care. All dogs must be assessed with a free trial prior to booking. We don't accept Puppies under 1year old.
HOME BOARDING
That's Amore Pet Care home boarding is a luxury VIP stay in my own home. Whilst you go on holiday, let your dog have a holiday too; this is a holiday your dog would not want to miss.
How many dogs do you board at any time?
We like to ensure that we can provide the best possible care for all of our boarding pups, so we really do keep the numbers to a minimum. We aim to have no more than 5 pooches staying with us at any given time - so please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment!
Where does my dog sleep whilst boarding at That’s Amore Pet Care?
Our service is very much a home from home dog boarding service, so we would always seek guidance from owners as to what your pup is used to, crate/bed/couch/floor. All the pups who stay with us can make themselves at home and are free to relax wherever they feel comfortable a part from the main bedroom during the day. At night time all dogs will sleep in either separate room or the same room with dividers to ensure that every dogs will have their own space without being bothered.
Do you offer dog boarding over the weekend?
To keep our schedule organized, we require all bookings to be made on the specific dates highlighted as available on our booking calendar.
We do offer dog boarding over the weekend, but normally only if it is part of a longer stay minimum 3 Days. Christmas period involves double charges for public/bank holidays. We also operate a 5/7 day minimum stay period in peak seasons / school holidays. That being said, we always try to be as flexible as possible so we will always do our best to help out.
Do you collect and drop off with the Dog boarding service?
We collect the dogs either in the morning or afternoon from dog boarding within a 3 miles radius already included in the price. If your location is further let us know and will try to accomodate your needs.
Do I need to provide food for my dog whilst they are boarding?
Yes all dogs have different dietary requirements therefore you will have to provide their food and tell us if they are allowed to have our treats or they need their own.
